Can I create my own customised Index?

Yes you can.
When you run any portfolio analytics, you will see a section on the top right where you can change your benchmark. Here you will find a Custom tab. This tab will show all your saved custom indices. If you want to create one, click on the link provided to Manage your custom Indices.
The second screenshot below shows you the new window that pops up to let you create/manage your customised indices. Here you can create your own index, for eg as follows:
50% Large Cap + 30% Mid cap + 20% Small cap.
Once you create the index, NGEN Markets will save it and keep it for you so you can use to benchmark any Fund, Stock, Portfolio or other security. We will even keep udpating this index on a daily basis as new data for the constituent indices keeps coming through.
